Camping at Albion Hills.

Places August 16th, 2006

We went camping on the weekend to Albion Hills Conservation park. The days were nice but the nights dropped to 9 degrees Celcius. That’s really cold for sleeping…

I think we’ll stick with provincial parks for camping from now on though. Albion Hills is part of the Toronto Conservation Authority and the quality of facilities isn’t as good as the provincial parks. The other campers were also pretty noisy at night because they were mostly teenagers from Toronto out to get drunk rather than to enjoy nature (and drink). Overall though, the park makes a good daytime-getaway.

On Sunday, we packed up the campsite then went into Toronto to see Spamalot. What a busy, yet relaxing, weekend.

oh, i’ve always wanted to see spamalot, was it any good?

sounds like a lot of fun!

It was lots of fun. It’s Monty Python’s Holy Grail set to music. They even have the flesh wound scene with the black knight…
