The festival has been on all Summer at Ontario Place. We stopped by on Saturday to check it out and it turned out to be a great night for walking by the lake. Lots of people though.

The challenge was to take shots of the lights at night without a tripod and minimal camera shake.

great pics! it’s impossible for me to stand still long enough to get a good shot without a flash. i think i have to adjust the shutter speed on my camera, there’s like a five second delay with every non-flash picture that i take.

    the pandas are my favorite!

Yeah, the fastest shutter speed that you’ll be able to get in low light depends on things such as the type of light metering your camera is set to (I had to use spot metering for most of the pictures), the ISO/ASA settings, and the maximum aperature that your camera is capable of.
