Three Mesial Canals in a Lower Molar.

Receptionchick says that my desk is way too messy so she bought an in/out tray for me to hide stuff. This seems to have helped a little and so I’m going through my desk drawers again to clean them up.
Here’s a cool case I completed in 2002–a 5 canal lower molar.

i read all about those in a recent oral health journal article. pretty nifty! i know it is an anomaly, but ever since reading that article i keep my eye out for those now….

Yeah, I think Glen Partnoy wrote about them last year or so.
The mid mesial canal usually joins up with one of the others, but more coronally than what we see in this tooth.
