Warning to All Pigs.

I’ve started to work on our invitation list for our annual pig roast in the Summer. I think we’re going to invite more family than usual this year. We haven’t seen many of our relatives since our wedding, and even then quite a few were not able to make it down to Mexico at the time. Of course, the four friends that we have will be invited.

My blog readership seems to have skyrocketted from 3 to about 6 now. I would invite all of you too, but most of you live about a 24 hour plane flight away. There’s one person who regularly reads the blog, who lives in Toronto and whom I haven’t actually met. You know who you are…the Girl and I have been wondering if you and Canuck and Cookie would like to enjoy a lazy July day in the middle of nowhere.

    as opposed to my vegetarian friend who “won’t eat anything with a face.”

    let me rephrase – this was the guy who consumed the 1 pound sumo burger at our local greasy spoon, then proceded to eat another half pound of fries AND finish the rest of my burger and my remaining fries. canuck loves meat.

    hmm, i guess it did come off as a little bit tongue-in-cheek, didn’t it?

    He’d love that Brazillian Grill the Girl and I went to then. We should set something up…we can go together for a little Brazillian.

    i ran it by canuck and he’s definitely up for meat and meeting up (hah!) but he is a tad on the shy side and is a little worried about not knowing anyone at the pig roast (including you!). but we should definitetly arrange to meet up at some point, and bring the dogs!

    i also have to add that he was extremely flattered that you even invited us at all, and did a double take at the words “pig roast”.

    I do hope that two of your four friends you have include me and my husband. Good luck with the thing this year, if it is anything like the last one, it’ll be more than a success i’m sure. We’ll be thinking of you guys and of the cool beer and of the pool and of course of the pig. Have fun with it and all the best!

    Hey we’re planning on having one again this year. Anyone whose name starts with “Canuck” is welcome. It might be a bit of a drive from where you live though.
