The Girl is Back!

Pineapple plant.She made it back from Colombia unviolated and in one piece. This is despite the fact that G. Bush’s Latin American tour is leaving a wake of riotous destruction through every country he passes–Colombia being one. He arrived there the same day The Girl did. Bogota didn’t fare too well and is spending 3 million dollars cleaning up from his “welcome”.

    yay, welcome back, girl!

    sheesh, i saw what was going down in latin america on CNN (i still watch it because i get a little homesick sometimes, plus i want to remind myselgf WHY we moved to canada to begin with). what a disaster, what a mess his administration has been. can you blame them, really? you should read up about the coca-cola controversy linked to colombia. not sure how entirely true it is, but at this point i wouldn’t put anything past US big business.

    i’m so engrained with the columbia/colombia spelling, it just comes so naturally to me ;-)

    http://www.killercoke.org has some more info. a little bit of spin and propaganda, i’m sure, but like i said, anything can happen nowadays. i’m leaning more towards believing this story than not.

    glad she made it back in one piece! white, blond, slim, and well proportioned where it counts, i had my worries about her, but i knew she was in good hands and she’s got a good head on her shoulders plus it happens to be screwed on tightly, so i knew she’d be fine. gorgeous place from the looks of it. love that top! what an experience that must have been, eh?

    as for bush, poor guy, no one seems to like him but me. imagine what kinds of hot waters i can get myself into for that, but i know when to keep mouth shut and just smile and nod. they bash him over here too a lot, and i just smile and not. god, that rhymed, yikes!

    it’s funny, i’m sure he’d be a blast at your pig roast, ameloblast. how do you think he spent his early years – partying! he’s very charming and apparently a very nice guy. but, as we all know, being nice doesn’t trump doing your job well. and we all know the state, financially and diplomatically, that the US is in right now.

    so you know what? invite him! maybe you canadians can talk some sense into him!

    Not a bad idea since you put it that way. The only problem is that I don’t have 3 million bucks to spend cleaning up the neighbourhood after he leaves.
