		<description>oh, that&#039;s really sad. poor Hector. this method u wanna use sounds pretty humane, but who really knows how and what fish feel, but putting him to sleep or in a sort of catatonic state before u &quot;put him down&quot; doesn&#039;t sound too bad.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;may he find his peace.</description>

		<description>you could try shocking.  i (accidently) learned this while cleaning out my fish tank many, many years ago.  try just placing him in a vat of extremely cold/ice water.  it takes about 10 seconds, but the rapid change in temperature shocks the system and kills the fish.  from what i saw, it&#039;s pretty fast, thought i&#039;m not sure how &quot;humane&quot; this is.  and hector is condsiderably larger than the fish that i accidently killed.  you should probably ask your vet about it first.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;wouldn&#039;t freezing be a much slower death and hence less humane?</description>
