The Return of Sol.

Cowland March 20th, 2008

I thought I’d throw these pictures up before all the snow melts around here. I took these on the weekend while we were out for a walk in the backyard. Look how happy the sun makes everyone…

hey, is this the new pond?? looks nice, even in the snow! and what is the wooden structure that looks like a gazeebo (sp?)? man, you got lots of snow this winter! you’ll be glad when it’s finally over i bet! anyways, we’re back from the sunshine and it’s gonna take a while for me to re-adjust to the present temps! brrr! Happy Easter! what are you guys doing over the Easter weekend? could we squeeze in a phone call with the Girl?

First of all it’s not a pond, it’s a natural pool. Second of all, that’s not it. That’s a picture of the stream in the forest (it’s my favourite spot by the stream).

The wooden structure is a gazebo and the pool is behind that all covered with snow. I think the sun and sand you’ve been in over the last couple of weeks must have fried some brain cells…

We’ve had way too much snow over here this winter. Your hubby would have been really busy this season if you two lived here.

ha ha! ok, sorry, i did mean the “natural pool”. anyways, nice spot, it would also be my favourite. yes, my husband was quite jealous of your snow but now ski season is almost over here although the die hard Swiss ski nation still keeps the slopes going….barely (see pix on Facebook). me, on the other hand, i much prefer sand than snow, but oposites attract, no?!

it’s not the sun that screws around with my head, it’s the flying! but regardless, same outcome!

Slowly but surely the sun is returning. We’ve been under drab skies for so many months…

I took the pictures. Calculus (The Girl) and Ameloblast are in them.

as pretty as it all looks, it would be even prettier if those pics were taken in december, not at the end of march when spring has officially arrived and none of that crap that fell over a month ago has melted yet.

sorry. i’m cranky and hating the cold.

Yeah, we’ve all had enough of the snow (except Laney’s husband who is a ski instructor in Switzerland). If you’re so cranky I don’t know if I want to come visit you anymore…
