Not My Teddy Bear.
Wait a Second April 1st, 2008

I’ve had this picture on my ‘puter for the last few days because I can’t figure out what I find so disturbing about it. It’s a cute teddy bear, but as I look at the picture I get the same feeling as nails-on-a-chalkboard.

I know he’s just taking his fur coat off — like bears do?!? — but it’s almost like he’s peeling off his skin. It’s cute in an oh-so-wrong way.

Hey, who do I have to register with to get a photo to show up with my comments? That ugly question mark has been driving me crazy!

I can’t decide if he’s sheding his fur or putting it on, but I think he’s cute.

fragile: I think I would have thrown up if the no-no parts were shown.
haley: Welcome back from your vacation. We’ve had way too much snow over here for me to even consider going away to somewhere with more. You can get an avatar at gravatar.com.
Jude: I think I’d feel better if he were putting it on. So let’s say that’s what’s happening.

Looks weird cause it’s head is the same colour it is peeling off (or putting on).

It can probably be interpreted as some kind of “don’t wear fur” statement, but it’s disturbing nonetheless.

I think it has got to do with the facial expression of the bear… it looks stoned/jaded which makes it look disturbing to me too. Where is this pic from?
April 2nd, 2008 at 4:43 pm
Edgar: Click on the photo to see where I got it. Here’s where you can buy the actual Teddy Bear.
Laney: It’s like a blue light bug zapper to an insect…
Anna: The belly button is a “nice” touch.
Laura: The picture would definitely take on a different twist if the bear started peeling its face off.

I don’t find this “disturbing” at all.
Must be a girl thing to get squeamish about it.

Hey, are you calling me a girl?? You probably don’t find this disturbing because of the other websites you visit…

Haley: I’ve changed the default avatar from the ugly question mark to an upside down exclamation mark. Hopefully you’re happy with the new punctuation.

You’re probably afraid of what’s under the facial fur. If it needs that creepy bear face to hide under, the real deal must be even worse.

hey, lay off the poor bear. the weather’s getting warmer, it’s just shedding it’s winter coat! could also be an inspirational tool for people trying to lose weight.

Fonzie: Is it your face? Thanks for stopping by you cockroach you.
Person: That’s not the picture I would put in front of the elliptical machines at the gym.

Ok, there are more disturbing teddy bear pictures.

Not my face, but them hairy legs remind me of the first time Ashwani came to school in short pants.

Yeah, I’d forgotten about that. Wonder what he’s up to these days.

Probably being held in Guantanamo.
