He is really cute. The problem is that now we have so many in the pool that look like him, we’re not sure which one he is anymore.

I’d be glad to make that drive again one day, just give me a reason to! I love driving so the distance is never a problem for me (gas prices might be but the actual act of driving is a dream). Rain is always fun

Actually we had a good turnout. I expected more people to cancel, but nearly everyone decided to brave the weather and the drive.

a little rain never killed anyone…unless it’s a thunderstorm and pple are swimming in a pool! gosh! but from the photos, it looks like it turned out just fine. you must have not had the turnout you expected tho, eh? so you must have had loooots of left overs. you’ll be eating pig for a month i bet sorry we couldn’t be there. you know no rain or thunder would have kept us away!

Hi Haley and Lin. The day turned out decently considering that we were indoors for most of it. This might be the last year for a while for our annual pig roast. Our butcher says that the Canadian government is encouraging pig farmers to cull their stock to keep supply down. Apparently pork has been too cheap.

Little guys like the ones we get are now very hard to find. I might have to switch to beef…
